It seems that the more advanced the technology, the more difficult it is to get proper service. I want to discontinue my telephone landline and in attempting to call and speak to a “human being,” I am just getting automated recordings advising me of my options.
I also get recordings simply saying “stay on the line as all of our attendants are currently attending to other customers.”
These companies have the audacity to advertise the fantastic service they provide including the fact that their broadband service is ten times faster now.
I wish that one of their “human” employees would answer the phone ten times faster in order for me to complete my transaction.
This is about the fifth attempt in as many days that I have made only to encounter the same thing. Then it dawned on me, maybe in not answering my call they can ensure that I do not discontinue my landline service.
What a wonderful world of modern technology we live in.
