After being shot twice before, a 21-year-old Gonzales man has become the nation’s latest murder victim when gunmen shot him near his home.
According to police reports, at about 9.50 am Kyle Williams, alias “Cat,” 21, from Pitman Lane, was shot about the body several times.
Williams was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
This is the third time that he was shot. The first was last year December when a bullet grazed his lower back area. He was also shot in the mouth some time before that.
Relatives said there was an ongoing war in the Pitman Lane area. While police are aware of it, they claim very little is done.
Described as a “house mouse” relatives said Williams was forced to stay in his home because of the ongoing war.
He had two matters pending in the court for shooting and possession of cocaine.
Investigations continue.
